A lay-led revival will begin Monday through Friday, 7 p.m., at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 797 Hughes Lake Road. Topics are Monday, persecution; Tuesday, anxiety; Wednesday, loss of loved ones; Thursday, adoption; and Friday, loneliness.

Revival begins Sunday, 6 p.m., at Beacon Baptist Church, 505 Corvin Road, with Dennis Leamon and Scott Leamon will be preaching at revival. Revival continues through Wednesday, 7 nightly.

Trinity United Methodist Church, 731 First St. N.E., will celebrate Women’s Day on Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m. The Rev. Mattie Benton from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church will be the speaker. Special music will be by Lavenia Scotten. A covered-dish lunch will follow the morning service.

Craig and Debbie Tyndall will speak Sunday, 11 a.m., at Bethel Baptist Church, 2514 Old Chattanooga Pike.

Trinity Trio will sing Sunday, 6 p.m., at Island Creek Baptist Church.

Broad Street United Methodist, 155 Central Ave. N.W., will have its eighth annual rummage sale today, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Revival will be held at Prospect Church of God, 2220 Harrison Pike, Oct. 13 through 18 with Evangelist John Ritcheson. Weekday services will be at 7 p.m.

Pastor Appreciation Day will be held Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m., for Pastor Jason Barnes at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church, 910 30th St. S.E. Dinner will be served after the morning service.

Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church’s Youth Blanket Drive will be held today, beginning at 7 p.m. through Saturday, 8 a.m. Donations will be accepted during drive hours. The youth will be sleeping outside using only donated items. Hats, gloves, scarves, hand warmers and blankets are needed.

Lee University Symphonic Band will be performing Sunday, 10:45 a.m., at Shiloh Baptist Church in Ocoee.

Pam Weston, a Christian artist and speaker from Mount Juliet, will be at Peerless Road Church, 3301 Peerless Road N.W., on Sunday, 6 p.m.

Revival begins Sunday morning at New Liberty Baptist Church, 900 King St. S.E., with Evangelist David Parker from Mississippi. Sunday night service is at 6. Weeknight services will be 7 nightly. There will be special singers each service.
