Dr. Meredith Harrison Sellers and Dr. Michael Warren Pelster were married May 6, 2017, at St. James Cathedral in Chicago, where the couple are both members.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benton Alan Sellers of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Austin Maples of Cleveland and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sellers, also of Cleveland.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Richard Peltser of Brentwood. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Buford Higgs and the late Mr. and Mrs. WIlliam Pelster.

The Very Rev. Dominic Barrington, an Episcopal priest and dean of the cathedral, performed the wedding ceremony. The bride was presented in marriage by her father. She was attended by Anna Robinson as her maid of honor.

The bridegroom’s father served him as best man.

A reception and dinner followed the ceremony at Joe’s Chicago, the sister restaurant of Joe’s Stone Crab in Miami, a place which holds a special memory for the couple.

The couple took a short wedding trip to Lake Geneva in Wisconsin with plans for a longer wedding trip later in the year. They will move to St. Louis in July, where Mrs. Pelster will begin work as an internist at the St. Louis VA Medical Center and Mr. Pelster will begin a fellowship in Mohs micrograpic surgery and dermatologic oncology at St. Louis University.
